Italian Luxury by Dolce & Gabbana: The New Italian Swiss-Mades

As a symbol of elegance, watches are one of the most important 
and may be the most important accessories especially for men.

In the market that is dominated by the ‘Swiss Made’ Companies, 
it is really hard for the designers to get the balance between 
the seasonal trends and the expectations.

Although many of the designers launched Swiss Made Watch collections, 
only a few of them succeed to get their products accepted 
as real timepieces but not designer accessories.

After launching their Jewellery collection in 2011 
Dolce & Gabbana is now launching the very elegant and timeless 
Swiss Made Watch Collection for men. 
It was the right time for the Dolce & Gabbana to launch the collection 
as the timepieces are must haves of an haute joaillerie collection 
and also it seems that the collection will be successful
as the watches are beyond being designer watches
but really elegant Swiss Made Masterpieces. 

The collection that comprises 52 pieces 
doesn’t have an intention of being trendy 
but it is obvious that the timepieces are designed to be 
real masterpieces to complete elegant styles.

The Swiss Made Collection has three lines. 
The DG7 is the classic line that expresses the idea behind the collection: 
refined elegance. 
The DS5 is the more dynamic line, 
where the watches are fortified with chronometers and chronographs 
to meet the sporty needs 
and the DG7 Gems is the line 
that the watches are embellished with gemstones 
to emphasize the idea of the refined luxury.

The faces of the ad campaign for the collection will be 
David Gandy for the DG7, 
Adam Senn for the DS5 and 
Enrique Palacios for the DG7 Gems.

The collection will be available at the selected Dolce & Gabbana Stores 
from the 18th of June.

  1. レイバンが日本に登場したのは20世紀80年代の頃だ。もちろん日本での実販売の始まりだった。なかのレイバン wayfarerは世界中に多くの人々に知られています。そして、ひとつの生活の不可欠品とも見られているらしいです。日本人が一番好きなモデルはレイバン RB2140らしい。
