The D&G Campaign: Sex, youth and foulards



The D&G is carrying out a highly tempting ad campaign for its SS12 collection:

The video of the ad campaign directed by Giampaolo Sgura 
gives us some idea about the sprit of the collection 
that young and passionate people are flirting on a boat. 
The music chosen takes us to romantic eras of the Mediterranean Costs 
while the tempting flirt scenes let us to feel the freedom of the modern ages. 

Foulard itself is an item of luxury. 
In addition to this, the fabric, silk is also a symbol of the luxury and passion.
On the other hand, seeing young people using foulards 
is an ironic yet clever point of the collection.
Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana show their loyalty 
to the amazing Italian Culture in every turn 
and in their latest collection they give us a message on 
how young people can be trendy without leaving their roots.

The collection and the ad campaign also proves that 
the D&G is not following trends but setting them!


As a result, the tempting silk foulards will be warming up this summer! 
Not only as objects attached on the bags but also flowing over the bodies.
